### FEIMS App

FEIMS comes installed and pre-configured on your Android device with Single sign-on (SSO) enabled. If you don't have access, please contact your TMR administrator.

Users should first consult their FEIMS administrator or trainer for assistance.

The Translink internal support address for Officers - <FEIMSSupport@translink.com.au>

Datalink provides this knowledge base, along with a service desk, and will provide direct support and assistance from support tickets logged by FEIMS administrators only.

### Crisisworks Mobile

{% if  %}
Crisisworks Mobile is free to download. Please consult the listings on the app stores for the latest device compatibility and other recommendations.

* App Store - <https://apps.apple.com/au/app/crisisworks-mobile/id942306032>
  {% endif %}
  {% endif %}

{% hint style="info" %}
If your organisation has a custom implementation of the app or mobile device management (MDM) for additional security you will need to ask your System Administrator for access.
{% endhint %}

You will need to install and link the app to your cloud server in order to use it.

Please note that not all devices and operating systems are supported.

### App Permissions <a href="#app-permissions" id="app-permissions"></a>

Permissions are required including Location (this is also requested within the app), Personal information (for your login), Audio, Camera and Video.

These should be set on installation and a connect request will be made upon initiating the app.

However they may be changed at some stage so it is advisable to check them if you run into any issues later.

### Launching the App

To launch the app, simply locate the app on your device's operating system (an icon in the applications menu).

The background colour of the app indicates the type of Site. Your app background should be blue if it is the live (production) site. It may be another colour, for example if it is a training (green) or testing site (orange). Note that your sign in credentials may also differ based on the site you are using.

### Signing in <a href="#signing-in" id="signing-in"></a>

Signing in is the same as [on a computer](/concepts-and-fundamentals/on-a-computer/getting-access.md#signing-in) with a few exceptions. The process is generally simpler. For example no Site URL is required the app is pre-configured to connect to the server.

There are two main methods of signing in which will depend on how your site is configured:

1. [Email and Password (with Multi-Factor Authentication)](#signing-in-with-email-and-password)
2. [Single Sign-On (SSO)](#signing-in-using-single-sign-on-sso)

#### Signing in with Email and Password

{% if visitor.claims.platforms.feims === true %}
{% hint style="info" %}
If Single Sign-On (SSO) is not configured, you will need to log in using an email address and password. New users need to go through the “Reset Password” screen to set their password before they log in for the first time. User passwords can no longer be set by the Translink Administrator. From the sign in screen enter your email address. Once entered, the screen will expand to expose a ‘reset password’ option.

1. Use the Reset Password option under Sign In
2. Enter your email address and use the Send Code button to send a reset code.
3. Check your email messages for the reset code.
4. Enter a new password and confirm it.
5. Enter the Reset Code and use the Submit button to confirm.
6. Sign in again with your email and new password.
   {% endhint %}
   {% endif %}

To sign in using the mobile app (iOS or Android):

1. Launch the app on your device
2. On the opening page, tap the **Sign in** button
3. On the Sign In page, enter:
   1. Email Address
   2. Password
4. Tap the **Sign In** button&#x20;

{% if visitor.claims.platforms.feims === true %} <img src="/files/tB2Iyaztn0gKVOLePuVr" alt="Signing in with a password" height="431" width="193">
{% endif %}

#### Recovering your password

If you are a new user or have lost or forgotten your password, follow these steps to reset:

1. Use the **Reset Password** link underneath the **Sign In** heading.\
   ![](/files/1oDVDeCPTo2sERMF7bZc)
2. Enter your **email address** and use the **Send Code** button.
3. Without closing your browser, check your email for a reset code.
4. Set a new password (you'll need to enter it again to confirm).

   Passwords must include:

   * At least 8 characters
   * Upper and lower case letters
   * At least one special character (@\*!\&#$%^<>.\_-\[]{}()=\~+?,;:"'/|)
   * At least one number
5. Enter your **Reset Code** and use **Submit**
6. Once your password has been updated successfully you will see a confirmation message. Use the **Back to Sign In** link and login with your email and new password.

#### Important notes <a href="#signingin-notes" id="signingin-notes"></a>

* The email sent by the system contains a reset code, not a password.
* If you don't receive an email, you may not have an account on the system that uses that email address.

{% if visitor.claims.platforms.feims === true %}
{% hint style="info" %}
User passwords can not be set by the Translink Administrator
{% endhint %}
{% endif %}

#### Signing In with Multi Factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) helps secure your account to prevent it being compromised or hacked. MFA adds an extra, highly secure, step to logging in addition to the username and password.

{% hint style="warning" %}
MFA is now mandatory in FEIMS v5 for all those users not using SSO.
{% endhint %}

If you have enabled Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) (recommended) additional authentication steps are required before signing in.

There are currently two main options for MFA:

1. Authentication App that supports one-time password (OTP) codes (recommended), and;
2. SMS based authentication

#### Authentication Code (via Authenticator App)

If your MFA method is Authentication Code, you'll see a prompt to enter a one-time authentication code. This will depend on the Authentication method you're using, for example Google Authenticator.

1. Using your Authenticator app, find the code
2. Enter or paste the code into the field on screen
3. Use the **Confirm** button

{% if visitor.claims.platforms.feims === true %} <img src="/files/UqdpGBMiG1KNeAQs4PwK" alt="Using a one-time code" height="431" width="193">
{% endif %}

#### SMS Authentication

If your MFA method is SMS you'll get a screen notifying you that a code has been sent to your phone and get a prompt to enter a one-time code.

1. Check your phone for an SMS&#x20;
2. Enter or paste the code from the SMS into the field on this screen
3. Use the **Confirm** button

#### Signing In with Single sign-on (SSO)

If Single sign-on (SSO) is configured for your site, this will be the default login option (otherwise users will sign in using their email address and password).

After using the **Sign In** button, a second page will appear prompting you to sign in with your corporate ID.

Follow your organisations authentication process to complete the login.

{% hint style="info" %}
Please refer to the Single Sign On instructions from your organisation for account onboarding.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
If your organisation has implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) you will need to ask your System Administrator for access.
{% endhint %}

{% if visitor.claims.platforms.feims === true %}
{% hint style="info" %}
Single Sign-On (SSO) access for FEIMS is configured for specific domains (translink.com.au, tmr.qld.gov.au and keolis.au). Your email must be in one of these configured domains for the relevant SSO button to appear. If you're not already logged into their corporate account on the device, you will be redirected to the corporate account log in screen.
{% endhint %}
{% endif %}

### Configuring your device on first use <a href="#accessing-the-events-list" id="accessing-the-events-list"></a>

The first time you sign in, you'll be required to:

1. Connect your device's location service
2. [Select an Event](/concepts-and-fundamentals/mobile-app/working-within-events.md#selecting-a-primary-event) to work with
3. Set up Multi-Factor Authentication

#### Connecting your device's location service <a href="#accessing-the-events-list" id="accessing-the-events-list"></a>

The first time you use the app you will be required to connect to your device's location service. This will initiate your settings for your device's native location service.

All you need to do to proceed is to use the Connect <img src="/files/IkUWx4kSEnOdcKJUZYgy" alt="" data-size="line"> button.
