App losing connectivity

Problem

When using the Mobile app, it is losing connectivity or running slow with a spin icon when saving.

Explanations

Poor or unreliable data connectivity

If your signal frequently drops to two bars or less, this can cause timeout issues connecting to the server.

Solution

Run the app in Offline mode and synchronise back to the server when you have more reliable connectivity.

Device OS not up to date

If your device's Operating System isn't up to date, it can cause problems with the app's ability to maintain a consistent connection.

Solution

If you are able to apply updates to your device's operating system, go to your device's system settings and apply updates. Refer to instructions for your device and operating system on how to apply updates.

App version not up to date

Older versions of the app may lack improvements that make the mobile connectivity more reliable.

Solution

Check the app store for updated versions of the app.
