# Cannot add new import

## Problem

When accessing the System Administrator area, New Import is not available as an option.

## Explanations

### Not on duty with a System Administration position

You need to be on duty to at least one Event with one [System Administration position](https://docs.cw.crisisworks.com/system-administration/configuring-the-system#system-administration-positions).

#### Solution

* Ensure that you are on duty to at least one Event with one [System Administration position](https://docs.cw.crisisworks.com/system-administration/configuring-the-system#system-administration-positions)
* Run [Diagnostics](https://docs.cw.crisisworks.com/concepts-and-fundamentals/on-a-computer/your-user-profile-and-duties#diagnostics) in Your User Account
* If the above doesn't work, [Sign Out](https://docs.cw.crisisworks.com/concepts-and-fundamentals/on-a-computer/your-user-profile-and-duties/signing-out) and Sign back in to update your permissions

### User Security Problem

Sometimes your user's permissions may need refreshing and the above doesn't work.

#### Solution

[Contact the Service Desk](https://docs.cw.crisisworks.com/security-and-support/maintenance-and-support/accessing-support) and request to run user security permissions maintenance, the Service Desk will need your email and Site to perform this task.
