# Positions access summary

Some bootstrap roles have been tailored specifically for Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) Councils, while others are generic roles intended for a broad range of Crisisworks user sites. Below, you'll find a summary of the MAV Council-specific roles and links to further information about the generic roles.

These roles have access to event records but not system administration.

* View and update events
* Update all operational and emergency management data
* Create and edit users
* Work Summary coordination
* Modify system configuration
* Import data

#### MEMO Deputy

**Can:**

* View and update events
* Update all operational and emergency management data
* Create and edit users

* Import data

**Cannot:**

* Work Summary coordination

**Can:**

* View and update recovery-related event records
* Update recovery case information
* Create and edit users
* Change system settings
* Manage Recovery Case Classification
* Approve GERF Payments

#### MRM Deputy

**Can:**

* View and update recovery-related event records
* Update recovery case information
* Create and edit users
* Change system settings
* Access EM Impact recovery reporting
* Import data

#### MRM/MEMO Assistant

**Can:**

* View and edit existing Events
* Enter and update records
* Change system settings
* Create and edit Users

**Cannot:**

* Access Finance module
* Access to system analytics
* Create Events

#### Council EMLO

**Can:**

* View events
* Create, edit and assign Operations records
* Update liaison-related records
* View Relief Registrations
* Create Lookups
* Edit assigned Recovery items

**Cannot:**

* Create or edit users
* View Recovery Cases
* Change event configurations

#### Operations Officer, Operations Support, Operations Coordinator

### RELIEF & RECOVERY POSITIONS

#### ERC Support Officer

**Can:**

* Full access to Recovery items, including assignment
* View and edit involved events
* Modify system configuration
* Import data
* Manage users

**Cannot:**

* Create and send Communications&#x20;

#### SIA – Building Surveyor & SIA / EHO

**Can:**

* Full access to Recovery items, including assignment
* Edit assigned Operations items&#x20;
* Manage users
* Modify system configuration

**Cannot:**

* Manage Events
* Create and send Communications&#x20;

#### Classification Manager – Recovery Cases

**Can:**

* Update recovery case classifications
* Modify classification fields

**Cannot:**

* Manage users
* Access unrelated modules without separate permissions

#### Relief & Recovery Coordinator, Relief & Recovery Officer, Relief & Recovery Data Entry

#### Communication Manager

### EXTERNAL AGENCY

#### External Agency (DFFH, VicPolice MERC)

**Can:**

* View event information
* View and edit assigned Operational items
* View and edit assigned Recovery items  &#x20;

**Cannot:**

* Edit system configuration
* View users
* Access administrative functions

### FIRE PREVENTION (FPN)

#### FPN Officer, FPN Coordinator, FPN Administrator, FPN Contractor

### PERMITS

#### Permit Coordinator

**Can:**

* Create and update permit records
* Assign permit workflows (where module allows)

**Can:**

* View and update brigade-related permit records

**Cannot:**

* Modify permit configuration

### SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION

#### System Admin & Data Entry, System Admin – User Management&#x20;

**Can:**

* Archive and manage historical data

### VULNERABLE PERSONS REGISTER (VPR)

**Cannot:**

* Access administrative settings

### WEED INSPECTIONS

#### Weed Inspections Coordinator, Weed Inspections Officer, Weed Inspections Assessor, Weed Inspections Contractor
