Expertise Import

This page explains how to use the Expertise Import option.

Overview

You can add/or update Expertise in bulk using the Expertise Import option.

Considerations

When importing Expertise, use existing categories from the Lookup for Expertise Category and its subcategories Area of Expertise and Area of Expertise (other) as well as the Level of Proficiency. Categories not matched are not added.

Import File

A CSV format file is required with the correct field mappings.

Refer to the Import Field Mappings section in the Import Instructions section for the latest import file requirements.

Import Steps

To import the file:

1. Refer to the general instructions in Imports.

2. In the General section select Type: Register Items

3. For Parsing Rule: select Expertise Import

4. Under Import File: use the Add file button

5. Save and Check Results
