Decision
This page explains how to use the Decision type.
Overview
LogsDecisions are a Type of Log you can use to record textual information typically associated with a decision that has been made. It functions like a digital version of a log book or diary.
Decisions have both a Action taken and a Reason.
For example if you need to record situations such as:
Decision: Resolved to add additional people to liaison role to relieve officers. Reason: Liaison officers are overworked and exhausted
Decision: Not to open the evacuation centre at Springfield and to redirect evacuees to Downtown. Reason: Insufficient numbers to support the operation of the centre.
For general instructions on managing Logs refer to Logs.
You'll need to set the Log Type to Decision in order to use this type.
